We are looking for a
Lead Engineer
in our Advanced & Sustainable Technologies organization, who
investigates and develops alternative and attractive technological and business solutions in connection with MOL Group’s 2030+ strategy, drives the the creation of a comprehensive knowledge base as well as business cases that can be used as a basis for the project development and implementation of the relevant sustainable businesses.
What would you be doing:
- Develops and aligns corporate project portfolio, contributing to strategic plans and initiatives. Provides technical guidance to translate strategies into industrial solutions, maintaining high service levels for internal and external stakeholders. Actively seeks new sustainable solutions and fosters communication with partner companies.
- Manages major Advanced and Sustainable Technologies projects, exploring solutions for business challenges and integrating them into company technology and assets.
- Expands knowledge base on Advanced and Sustainable Technologies, building and maintaining a strong network of stakeholders.
- Monitors technology, sustainability, competitor, and regulatory developments impacting MOL Group's operations.
- Supports professional development of colleagues in Advanced and Sustainable Technologies, keeping them updated on emerging trends.
- Oversees projects within and outside our New and Sustainable Businesses organization, analyzing external impacts on operations.
- Acts as team leader on professional topics, supporting the Advanced and Sustainable Technologies Manager and managing stakeholder relationships.
- Represents the company in international industrial bodies to expand customer network, promote new products, and ensure portfolio competitiveness.
- Ensures safe and compliant work execution.
The ideal candidate:
- Holds Msc in engineering (Preferably in chemical engineering)
- Is fluent in English (Hungarian/Slovakian/Croatian is advantage)
- Has 10+ years’ experience in Project Management, R&D, Technology Development, Sustainability, Circular Economy
- renewable energy production and/or market
- renewable fuel or chemical production and/or market
- solid waste and wastewater processing and/or market
- fossil production supply chain
- renewable feedstock and supply chain
- relevant regulatory fields
- Is advanced in MS Office and MS Project
- Has a Driving License Category B
