Sourcing Director - Nanushka

Nanushka is one of the leading brands in the sustainable luxury segment. The Sourcing and Logistics Director role is an exceptional opportunity to shape an essential role in the business.

The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented and have a can-do attitude. They will have outstanding experience in the supply chain, vendor relationship, and people management, and are familiar with the fashion industry.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate potential suppliers based on commercial needs, costs, quality, and lead time requirements.
• Lead the onboarding process for new vendors, ensuring contracts, seasonal agreements, and production delivery confirmations are in place.
• Negotiate favorable terms and conditions with new and existing partners to secure cost savings and timely deliveries, meeting organizational needs.
• Build strong relationships with key partners to ensure long-term, beneficial partnerships.
• Conduct regular performance reviews with vendors to address issues and resolve disputes while ensuring continuous improvement for relevant Product categories.
• Track and manage administrative processes in the ERP system, securing accurate production order placements, pricing, and delivery schedules.
• Allocate and hand over final production orders to selected partners, ensuring the alignment to the seasonal critical path.
• Identify opportunities for cost reductions and negotiate margin improvements. If performance is unsatisfactory, negotiate discounts or refunds.
• Prepare regular reports on vendor performance, cost savings, and any issues or risks that need addressing.
• Work with vendors to identify areas for process improvement and efficiency.
• Work closely with product, merchandise, and commercial teams on seasonal product costing and allocation strategies.

            Logistics

• Develop and execute comprehensive logistics strategies aligned with business objectives to support growth and profitability.
• Oversee the end-to-end delivery process, including customs clearance processes, distribution, and customer order fulfillment.
• Manage relationships with third-party logistics providers and carriers to ensure timely and cost-effective operations.
• Analyze supply chain data and performance metrics to identify opportunities for improvement and implement innovative solutions.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the logistics team.
• Collaborate with production, sales, and customer service teams to maintain alignment.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, including transportation, customs, and sustainability standards.
• Prepare and manage the logistics budget, identifying areas for cost optimization without compromising service quality.

            Administration

• Build and maintain weekly Cash Flow reports for logistics and production-related activities.
• Oversee and track timely seasonal updates of all internal documentation, databases, and ERP systems.

• Bachelor's or Master's degrees in supply chain management, transportation, economics, business administration, project management, or a similar field.
• 5+ years of experience in an industry-related field.
