Senior accountant

• Actively participate in the transition of accounting activities from the current, internal Shared Services Organization (SSO) to the external Shared Services Provider (SSP), including managing related impacts at local legal entity level.
• Coordinate accounting activities and ensure effective communication between the SSP and local organizations, acting as the primary point of contact.
• Monitor SSP performance and collaborate closely to continuously improve the quality and efficiency of services delivered.
• Work in close cooperation with the local Finance team to ensure full compliance with local accounting and tax regulations (including VAT), applicable accounting standards, Group policies, and internal/SOX controls.
• Collaborate with the local AOH organization and the SSP to drive continuous improvement of processes and systems.
• Support the local Finance team during internal and external audits.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in general accounting and financial closing activities, preferably within an international or multinational environment.
• Strong knowledge of local accounting standards and statutory requirements.
• Solid experience with SAP and financial reporting tools.
• Knowledge of US GAAP and SOX compliance is considered an advantage.
• Proven ability to coordinate and manage external service providers; prior experience working with a remote Shared Services organization is a plus.
• Fluent English communication skills, both written and spoken
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across cultures
