Responsibilities

Position Summary
As an Inside Sales Coordinator, you will be responsible for developing long-term relationships with customers and overseeing sales.
You will work to satisfy customers’ needs and requests, respond to their queries in a timely manner and aspire to deliver a positive customer experience. You will have excellent communication and negotiation skills and be customer service oriented.
Ultimately, you should be able to grow our business by building successful, long-term client relationships with a key focus on delivering high standards of customer service and upselling.

Requirements

Key Sales Responsibilities:
  • Completion of RFQ's from customers
  • Processing customer spot orders
  • Progressing any customer queries regarding outstanding orders
  • Customer price updates & price file management
  • Rolling reviews of customer margin to maintain profitability.
  • Analysis of customer schedules to ensure stock availability.
  • Obtaining up to date forecast information for key customers with regular communication.
  • Monthly forecasting analysis on key accounts
  • Request stock part creation through the PIT channel and maintenance of customer drawings
  • Stock part creation
  • Customer declarations (export) and creation of commercial invoices
  • Creation of customer kits on MDS & management of kits
  • Linking customer stock codes with our stock codes in MDS
  • Creation of works orders for parts to be sent to platers, liaising with warehouse for despatch/receipt.
  • Offering technical advice on applications and assistance to customers
  • Resolving empty bin queries by liaising with customer & purchasing department
  • Creation of daily sales sheet for circulation to the team and other key stakeholders
Purchasing Responsibilities
  • Liaising with suppliers regarding pricing/lead time for spot orders
  • Placing PO's with suppliers
  • Progressing PO's with suppliers
Quality & Customer Service Responsibilities
  • Dealing with any quality concerns raised by our customers.
  • Raising debit notes on suppliers/arranging for goods to be returned to suppliers if goods are rejected.
  • Review of any open quality concerns

Nice-to-have

Education, Experience & Qualifications:
  • Intermediate knowledge/experience of Microsoft Office package including Excel.
  • Ability to make profitable savings and maximise sales.
  • Excellent Timekeeping & attendance
  • Hard working and reliable.
  • Providing POD's to customers when requested
  • Answering the telephone in the sales office
  • Covering other sales team members accounts during holiday and sickness periods
