Materials planning analyst
REQUIREMENTS:
- Ensures component availability for production
- Plans production of different products according to customer requirements and capacities
- Keeps contact with customer, coordinates on deliveries
- Keeps the material and finished product quantity on the optimal level and ensure the maximum of inventory turnover circumstances.
- Supports new product implementation process from supply chain side
- Exercises discretion and independent judgment within defined policies and procedures and applies skills and knowledge of theories and principles to understand specific needs or requirements and determine appropriate course of action.
- Develops solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity.
- Identifies and corrects issues that are not immediately evident in existing systems or processes by analyzing information and generating ideas.
- Delivers results according to specific targets in direct support of department objectives.
- Actively participate the preparation of delay, warehouse and delivery reports.
- Continuously maintain the setup parameters for production planning. (Lead time, MOQ, Horizon day, etc.)
- Follows the production planner handbook guidance, if necessary: gives recommendations to modify.
- Responsible for carrying out duties in accordance with the current quality, environmental, and work and safety, health protection policies of the company as well as the duties defined in employee’s scope of responsibilities.
WHAT YOUR BACKGROUND LOOK LIKE:
- Relevant college or university degree
- Relevant experience (3 years) in the automotive industry: experience in materials planning
- Good knowledge of MS Office applications, i.e. Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint
- Fluent English knowledge in verbal & written
- Experience in using SAP
