Responsibilities

To strengthen our sales activities in Budapest/Hungary, we are looking for a Key Account Manager Hungary (m/f/d)

 

  • Identify and acquire new customers while building long-term, trust-based relationships in the industrial sector in Hungary
  • Support and further develop existing key accounts in close cooperation with the sales team
  • Take responsibility for achieving sales and growth targets within the assigned customer portfolio
  • Analyze market and industry trends to develop and implement strategic sales initiatives
  • Collaborate with internal departments such as Product Management and Logistics to ensure customer requirements are met in the best possible way
  • Conduct negotiations at various decision-making levels and close contracts
  • Continuously monitor the market and competitive landscape to identify innovative solutions and new business opportunities
  • Attend trade fairs and, if required, take responsibility for organizing and managing company booths as stand manager

Requirements

  • Successfully completed university degree or vocational training in a commercial or technical discipline, paired with a strong interest and affinity for the field
    • Several years of experience in key account management or technical sales, ideally involving technical products or industrial components
    • Strong market and customer knowledge in the Hungarian B2B environment
    • Business fluency in Hungarian and very good English skills, German skills advantageous
    • Proven track-record in establishing and maintaining long-term customer relationships and in achieving sales targets
    • Strong negotiation, communication and persuasion skills across various hierarchical levels
    • Analytical capabilities to interpret market and sales data
    • Team-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively
    • Interest in taking on overall responsibility in the future
    • Willingness to travel regularly within Hungary and occasionally to Germany or other countries
