Direct Procurement Manager

Strategic procurement and supply security
 

• Strategic procurement of raw materials and primary packaging materials.
• Ensuring continuous supply for production.
• Developing cost efficient procurement solutions, preparing cost analyses and price difference calculations.
• Building and improving the supplier structure.
   

Supplier collaboration and qualifications
 

• Providing local evaluation and input for tenders initiated by Global Procurement.
• Coordinating the supplier qualification process for new suppliers.
• Maintaining daily contact with strategic suppliers.
• Operational support and daily operations
• Monitoring forecast changes and communicating additional needs to suppliers, aligned with Group Procurement.
• Continuous collaboration with Planning, QSE, Logistics and Group Procurement teams.
• Checking daily readiness while considering available capacities.
   

Data, analysis and strategic contribution
 

• Preparing financial and cost analyses.
• Providing continuous input for Group Procurement (plans, tender materials, negotiation preparations).
• Supporting strategic decision making for the Global Procurement team through data, analyses and professional recommendations.

• 5+ years of experience in direct procurement, preferably in raw materials or packaging materials.
• Strong communication skills and confident collaboration.
• Confident English communication, used on a daily basis.
• Ability to work effectively with multiple departments.
• Customer oriented, fast and solution focused approach.
• Strategic mindset and solid understanding of production processes.
