Czech or Slovak Speaking HR associate
The Role
- Process the transactions required for the entire lifecycle of the TESCO colleagues : Set up and maintain of colleagues' data, setting up of New Joiners on Payroll System , Generating contracts for New Joiners, Transfers and Leavers.
- Maintenance of existing colleagues data by making changes as and when requested.
- Perform the necessary payroll related transactions to ensure we pay our colleague in an accurate, timely and compliant way
- Process the various transactions for off cycle payments, such as sickness, bonuses and deductions.
- Reconciliation of time and attendance information, administration of benefits.
- Processing inputs as per the process defined in the SOP within defined timelines and quality.
- Responsible for maintaining and updating SOP documentation in line with process changes.
- Coordinate with vendors where applicable for ordering discount cards, vouchers, anniversary certificates and other benefits.
- Manage tasks related to apprentices (joiners/leavers, modification, data management, document management, benefit administration).
- Working with CI mindset - Participate and deliver continuous improvement and digitalization initiatives to improve delivery, efficiency, quality and save cost.
- Participate in the reporting and controlling activities required by the business and the authorities
- Take part in the preparation of declarations for state authorities and institutions
- Answer queries from colleagues regarding their employment and pay.
- Maintain ad hoc tasks related to People Admin and Payroll processes
Your background
- Minimum high school graduate
- Intermediate level English knowledge
- Advanced Czech/Slovak language knowledge
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Planning and organizing/prioritization skills
- Intermediate MS Office (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Access) knowledge
- Ability to handle personal data with highest level of confidentiality
- Ability to work accurately and consistently
- Customer service mindset
- Work experience in a payroll environment is an advantage
