Responsibilities

  •  Manages / operates the IT applications in his/her professional field and provides professional support to users, handles incidents, problems and change requests, and provides their resolutions, as well as makes suggestions for the improvement of related processes.

  • Has a basic knowledge of the business processes served by the applications under his/her operational responsibility, operates the IT services accordingly, and makes proposals for their further improvement
  • Provides the up-to-date state of the application inventory and CMDB on his/her professional field and makes proposals to improve the relevant systems.
  • Participates in the implementation of IT changes (SIR) and developments resulting from the modification of the business needs of Downstream Logistics and SCM and other supported organizations, ensures the IT operability of the to be modified / new IT solutions, participates in the handover and productive implementation of modified / developed solutions and systems. He is responsible for the professional, accurate and timely implementation of the project tasks assigned to him in these projects. Makes proposals for the elimination of IT problems that have arisen and the issues to be solved.
  • Responsible for the optimal use of IT operational (asset, human, financial) resources in his/her field. Contributes to the standardization of operational processes, application lifecycle tracking and consolidation, and control of the related activities in his area of expertise.
  • Initiatespromotes and supports the professional and cost-effective removal of obsolete IT systems.
  • In case of IT emergencies ensures the primary role of Business Continuity in his/her field and the professional control of the preparation for them, and the up-to-date state of Disaster Recovery Plans and security procedures. He/she coordinates the work of his/her professional field during the emergency situations.
  • Responsible for the lifecycle management (registration, installation, change, revocation) of operating software licenses in his/her area of operation, and for the software usage according to the license agreement.

Requirements

  • College or University degree (economic or information technology degree)
  • At least 2-3+ years’ experience in application support and/or system administration
  • ITIL basic knowledge and/or IT operational experience
  • Communication level of English
  • Independent work attitude
  • Good problem solving, creativity

Nice-to-have

  • If you have specific knowledge in any specific area of applications that are used in corporate environment is an advantage (i.e. Azure, DocumentumManagementSystem, Ticketing Systems)
  • Knowledge of database administration (MS SQL, Oracle SQL)
  • Unix, Linux and/or Windows server system administration knowledge
  • Working experience in multinational environment
  • Knowledge of Script languages
