Accounting and Finance manager
Task:
- Ensure that financial procedures, guidelines are up to date and legally compliant with local law
- Active participation and coordination in the ERP implementation process of the company
- Professional management and support of Finance Team to ensure successful performance (people management)
- Ensure complete accounting and controlling tasks based on the regulations, prepare accounting and analytical in strong cooperation with outsourced payroll & accounting external partner and Spanish HQ
- Continuously monitor the company’s accounting and financial, taxation processes and adopt them to the changing environment
- Implement the necessary updates taking into accounting & controlling procedures
- Perform monthly closing activities, prepare reports as specified in the group and local reporting calendar
- Support the financial and accounting transactions
- Provide professional support to the local team members in Serbia, Romania and Croatia regarding the local projects
- Perform internal and external audits, ensure timely execution
- Prepare Hungarian Annual Report
- Keeping contact with external partners and cross-functional group departments
- Build a strong cooperation with the local management and Spanish Finance Team
Expectation:
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- 6+ years of experience in Finance/Controlling/Accounting with at least 2 years in a leadership position (professional background in the energy sector is a plus)
- Strategic thinking and data driven analytical skills
- Self-motivated and driving for results
- Knowledge and/or experience of ERP implementation
- Experienced working across a wide range of teams and stakeholders to align plans and deliver business outcomes
- Language capabilities: Hungarian & English in business fluent required (Spanish/Serbian language knowledge is a bonus point)
- Up-to-date knowledge of Hungarian tax, financial and accounting legislation
- An approachable personal style and effective problem solving skills
- High motivation to achieve ambitious projects and handle pressure in a fast-paced working environment
