Responsibilities

Personnel System Management
  • Processes all types of personnel and correction actions via the Personnel System for Locally Employed Staff.
  • Manages the Personnel System by entering and revising data as appropriate and generates notifications to financial service center.
  • Prepares check-in forms of the newly hired local employees. Assists new hires in establishing direct-deposit bank accounts and coordinates them with the Payroll Center.

Administration
  • Extracts information from various automated and written files to generate a variety of recurring reports and statistical data for the HR section.
  • Drafts cables, HR correspondence such as letters, memos, simple management notices, etc.
  • Basic administration of the medical/life insurance program/s for LE Staff at post.

Program Support
  • Awards: Assists with preparations for semi-annual employee awards program
  • Training: Maintains post’s training program for LE Staff as per the allocated budget for each fiscal year on courses. 
  • Local Social Security Program: Basic administration of the Local Social Security program for eligible LE Staff including new hires and separating employees and ensures payroll deductions for participants are deposited.
  • Performance Management: Keeps track of evaluation reports and follows up on all outstanding reports; when necessary, prepares notification letters at the end of year to staff about their rewards, prepares memo to the Front Office listing all delinquent evaluation reports. Prepares spreadsheets and discussion papers/ad hoc reports as necessary.
  • Position Classification Advisor: Assists in managing the LE Staff position classification program and position management. 
  • Strategic Recruitment Support: Assists in managing the local recruitment and onboarding program.

Requirements

Education Requirements: Completion of two years of general college studies is required.

Experience: Minimum two years of experience in human resources or administrative field is required.

Language: 
  • English - Good working knowledge; speaking, reading & writing
  • Hungarian - Good working knowledge; speaking, reading & writing
