In this position your main tasks will be the following:

  • Provision / operation of customer’s system 24/7
  • Current systems upkeep / care / maintenance / upgrades
  • Analysis and removal of occurring problems
  • Constant communication to involved units and partners
  • Reporting
  • Preparing/making presentations for clients and introducing/teaching system functions to colleagues through internal training, if required

In a 4 weeks period of time:

  • 2 weeks in day shift (10am - 6 pm with some flexibility)
  • 2 weeks in morning/afternoon/night shift
  • 1 max 2 days on-call on weekend 

Elvárások:

  • minimum of 3 year’s relevant experience – it's a must have
  • solid knowledge of Linux Server systems
  • knowledge of database systems
  • have application containerization expertise
  • have good understanding in high availability solutions, IP networking, virtualization, storage and backup systems, server hardware
  • excellent English, good German is a plus
  • work well under pressure and be a team player
  • being able to handle multi-shift work order (predictable and flexible shifting-plan)
  • know what ITIL means

 

  • Bachelor's degree is an advantage
  • Windows systems knowledge is an advantage
  • MS SQL, Oracle Database and Application Servers are advantages
