Strategic Sourcing Lead - Join bp in Budapest!

• About the Role:

  We are looking for a Sourcing Lead to join a diverse and global procurement organization supporting strategic sourcing activities for a global market. The role is based in Budapest, working in close collaboration with colleagues abroad.

  Key responsibilities

  • Managing medium to high complexity end-to-end sourcing and contracting projects.
  • Developing and executing category-specific procurement strategies, primarily in the areas of Marketing, Retail Assets, Convenience Retail, and related domains (e.g. facility management, food & beverage for retail fuel stations).
  • Supplier selection, commercial negotiations, contracting and contract management.
  • Stakeholder and supplier management, including negotiations with senior counterparts.
  • Proactively identifying value creation opportunities and driving continuous process improvements.
  • Acting as a strategic partner rather than a tactical buyer - full ownership of sourcing initiatives.

• About You:

  • Around 5 years of sourcing/procurement experience, preferably in an international setting
  • Excellent negotiation and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Fluent English (high level, C1+)
  • Strategic mindset and commercial awareness
  • Knowledge of Ariba/Salesforce is an advantage
  • Business or procurement-related education preferred
