Spanish speaking Statutory and Tax Accounting Controller

• What You Will Do as a Spanish speaking Statutory and Tax Accounting Controller:

  • Lead the preparation and review of statutory financial statements for assigned entities.
  • Ensure compliance with local accounting and tax regulations, coordinating with external service providers.
  • Perform reconciliations between statutory, tax, and US-GAAP ledgers.
  • Support tax filings and statutory audits, ensuring accuracy and timely submissions.
  • Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency and compliance standards.

• What We're Looking For

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics (Master's preferred).
  • At least 5-8 years of relevant experience in accounting within an international environment.
  • Strong knowledge of US-GAAP and/or IFRS.
  • ACCA or similar certification is a plus; Big 4 background is an advantage.
  • Fluent English and Spanish is essential (written and spoken).

  Part-time employment is also an option (30 hours/week)
