Responsibilities

General purpose of the job:
  • Driving site manufacturing effectiveness improvement agenda via implementation and end-to-end management and coordination of programs such as R2S, UMS (Unilever Management System)
  • Driving site overall digitalization agenda aimed at transforming the site into a "digital factory"

Main responsibilities:
  • Building a roadmap for implementation of manufacturing effectiveness improvement programs such as Run 2 Standard, UMS parts of the factory; agreeing annual / quarterly implementation plans and goals with all stakeholders and driving their execution.
  • Direct responsibility for coordination of R2S, UMS programs in line with agreed plans and frameworks.
  • Supporting all factory departments  to increase speed of improvement.
  • Support pillar leaders in the area of UMS programs, coordinating overall efforts in line with expected methodologies and best practices.
  • Organizing and delivering knowledge/skills training within the area of UMS methodology and tools, with the focus on Leadership & Specialist/Engineering teams as well as Blue Collar employees
  • Monitoring overall results, KPI and milestones for above-mentioned programs and reporting results/KPI to all stakeholders; suggesting innovative solutions as to loss elimination
  • Create and managing factory waste loss tree with production manager 
  • Managing and achieving  UMS factory waste savings
  • Coordination of Kaizen process,  Process optimization, loss reduction
  • Managing and coordination of site improvement programs (Kaizens & suggestions), close cooperation with PD team aimed and booting engagement of blue collar employees through these programs.
  • Delivering hands-on support in area of root-cause analyses or resolving effectiveness improvement issues as SME (Subject Matter Expert)
  • Creating a roadmap for site digital transformation in line with business category expectations
  • Overall management and supervision over multiple projects aimed and implementation of digital solutions in all areas of the site
  • Active participation in site master plan creation;
  • Further development, implementation and demand for UMS standards and processes in all areas of the plant 
  • Strategic alignment of the UMS program 
  • Management of the employees of the UMS-FI-Site Digitalisation Team  
  • Evaluation of UMS KPIs and reporting to global networks (MET Loss Tree, AMIS, etc.)

  • Planning and implementation of UMS audits and visits 

Requirements

  • University degree, preferred in the area of engineering or manufacturing management
  • 5+ years of experience in the area of productivity and/or effectiveness improvement, implementation of Lean/TPM/UMS methodologies, preferably in managerial role or as a project manager/leader/coordinator
  • Experience in FMCG industry will be an advantage
  • Good understanding of manufacturing processes and/or manufacturing machinery
  • Sound experience in managing projects with track of record in delivering projects and achieving KPIs
  • Good understanding of IT & software solutions applied in manufacturing environments
  • Overall understanding of IT architecture aspects in a company
  • Ability to work with multiple projects at the same time in a complex environment
  • Strong leadership skills with focus on ability to boost employee engagement and increase their commitment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with ability to work with complex problems
  • Team working attitude
  • Good knowledge sharing and training skills, ability to deliver effective training to employees regardless of their level in the hierarchy
  • Good command of English in speaking and writing
  • Computer literacy, proficiency in MS Office, especially MS Excel
  • Practical knowledge of business intelligence tools, such as Power BI or similar
