Senior Software Engineer - Android

Completes and coordinates mobile application developments within the Android development team. Coordinating the team of medior and junior developers. Analyzing requirements, keeping schedules and supervising activities, contributing to team meetings, troubleshooting development, test and production issues across multiple environments and operating platforms. Supports testing activities and handover to Operation Department. Activities include 3rd line maintenance, issue and incident tracking aligned with SLA’s. Updates knowledge by researching new technologies and software products.

• design and implement Android mobile applications to meet business needs
• collaborate with MobileApp Back-end and Test teams
• engage with product owners to understand requirements and ensure compliance with company policies
• prepare technical documentation and estimate development efforts
• work using agile (SCRUM) or waterfall methodologies
• support testing activities, including functional, non-functional, and automated front-end tests
• investigate and resolve defects during development and lifecycle
• review and merge pull requests from junior and medior colleagues, mentoring and coaching them
• contribute to hiring and onboarding of junior colleagues
• make architecture-related decisions and support app publication processes
• assist DevOps in CI/CD design and maintain CI workflows for Android

• IT degree or developer qualification with 5+ years in mobile application development
• proficient in Kotlin and in MVVM architecture pattern
• experience with Android Studio, Jetpack Compose, Sonarqube and debugging tools
• skilled in unit testing with mocking frameworks
• strong knowledge of network communication solutions (REST JSON, Swagger)
• familiar with CI/CD tools (Artifactory, Azure DevOps)
• solid understanding of SDLC, CI/CD, and DevOps principles
• experienced in agile development methodologies
• proficient in identifying and refactoring incorrect architectures
• intermediate English (spoken and written)
