Responsibilities

  • You will work closely with the local management team and other internal stakeholders and provide expert advice on financial and performance management and strategic decisions.
  • Based on your analyses, you will develop recommendations for action, propose corrective measures and keep an eye on their implementation.
  • You will be responsible for providing standard cost calculations for production, investment calculations, and regular management reporting including monthly variance analyses and ad hoc management analyses.
  • You will support investment planning (project participation and business case analyses) and ensure the cost-efficient introduction of new products through your evaluations.
  • You will work closely with other experts to continuously optimize and develop local, regional, and global financial processes and reporting.

Requirements

  • You have a degree in business administration, finance, engineering, or similar or you have completed commercial training with several years of professional experience.
  • You have very good knowledge of statistical methods and you are proficient in analysing financial data.
  • You are characterised by excellent analytical skills and a high level of problem-solving competence.
  • You are curious, like to question facts, and have a flair for developing insightful analyses and recommendations.
  • You have the ability to tell compelling stories through visual reports and dashboards.
  • You are proficient in the use of business intelligence tools, preferably SAP, BW, Power BI, and/or SAC (SAP Analytics Cloud). A confident handling of MS Office (especially Excel) is a matter of course for you.
  • You have a very good command of written and spoken English and German skills.
