Senior Microsoft 365 Engineer
Role purpose
We are looking for a senior Microsoft 365 engineer/ architect to join our team and help us design, implement and support cloud-based solutions. You will be responsible for leading the technical vision and strategy for Microsoft 365, ensuring alignment with business objectives and best practices. You will also collaborate with other architects, engineers, developers, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions that meet the needs and expectations of our business areas.
Responsibilities
- Define and document the technical architecture and design for M365 solutions
(security, compliance, productivity, collaboration, communication) - Design and implement integrations with other cloud and on-premises systems, using APIs, connectors, webhooks and other methods
- Provide technical guidance and leadership to the solution build team
- Monitor and troubleshoot the performance, availability, and security of M365 solutions
(M365 Admin Center, Azure Monitor, PowerShell) - Provide architectural support and training to support administrators
- Stay updated with the latest trends and developments in M365 and related technologies and evaluate their potential benefits and impacts for our internal customers
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, information systems or related field, or equivalent work experience
- At least 5 years of progressive experience in supporting and designing M365 solutions
- Strong knowledge and skills in M365 technologies and service
(Azure AD, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive, Power Platform etc.) - Fluent in English and Hungarian, both written and spoken
- Experience in migrating and integrating cloud and on-premises systems
(Azure AD Connect, SharePoint Migration Tool, Power Automate, Logic Apps etc.) - Proficient in scripting and automation
(PowerShell, Azure CLI, Graph API etc.) - Certification in M365 or related technologies
(Enterprise Administrator Expert, Teams Administrator Associate, Security Administrator Associate etc.) - Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Willingness to travel occasionally to meet with clients and partners
