Senior Financial and Operational Controller

 

• Prepare and analyze financial reports, forecasts, and budgets, with a strong focus on cost management and profitability analysis.
• Oversee project and operational controlling, tracking resources, timelines, and profitability for e-commerce content production projects.
• Monitor and analyze key financial and operational KPIs, providing recommendations to the management to make sure KPIs are running within defined borders.
• Actively managing Cash-Flow with recommendations to the CEO to ensure smooth payments and budgeting.
• Act as a substitute for the Senior Financial Advisor during absences, ensuring continuity in accounting and financial reporting.
• Develop advanced Excel models and Power BI dashboards to streamline data reporting and provide actionable insights.
• Collaborate closely with the management team to identify cost-saving measures and pricing improvements.
• Present complex financial data in a clear and digestible format for both financial and non-financial stakeholders.

 

• Degree in finance, economics, accounting, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in controlling, accounting, or related areas.
• Advanced Excel skills, including macros and pivot tables; experience with Power BI is strongly preferred.
• Strong analytical skills with a proactive approach to identifying opportunities for improvement.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills; ability to simplify complex data for a wide audience.
• Fluency in English; knowledge of Hungarian or German is an advantage.
• Experience in the creative agency, e-commerce, or fashion industries is a plus but not required.
