An exciting new job opportunity has arisen for a Senior Asset Accounting Analyst to join us in Budapest. Please note this is a part-time position.

In this role You will:

  • Inventory Management Fixed Asset Accounting.

  • Capitalization of assets.

  • Processing of disposals incl. preparation of disposal journals and related guidance and support to other team members.

  • Ensuring proper accounting treatment, particularly with regard to fixed assets management in SL, GL.

  • Period end close (monthly, quarterly, year-end) - transfer of assets under construction to addition to fixed assets.

  • Verification and handling of adjusting entries and transfers for capital expenditures.

  • Screen and review inferior assets, preparation and booking of transfer posting documents.

  • Process depreciation in terms of local GAAP and IFRS with appropriate sense check and analyse upcoming deviations.

  • Ensuring that all asset movements are compliant with BP Policy & Authorities (Group Reporting Manual), local GAAP and IFRS.

  • Ensuring compliance with „Component Accounting".

  • Adhering with the tasks outlined in the QMS Systems of FBT.

  • Fixed Assets master data processing.

  • Reconciliation of accounts, preparation of quarterly reports and ad hoc reports.

  • Ensuring the right assignment of assets to the functional entities through monitoring activities and reconciliation of fixed assets ledger.

  • Coordination of fixed assets related activities within FBT.

What You will need to be successful:

  • Relevant university or collage degree – preferably in Finance & Accounting.

  • Chartered accountant degree is an advantage.

  • Proven experience in related Finance area.

  • Fixed Asset Module experience and Local GAAP and IFRS skills are highly beneficial.

  • Proficiency in English & German is essential.

  • Good level of analytical skills, numeracy and financial awareness.

  • Readiness for action and ability to work under pressure.

  • Strong communication and cooperation skills.

  • Assertiveness & ownership.
