Senior Accounting Specialist

As Senior Accounting Specialist you will be a core team member in the group accounting team. Your main role will be to support group closing activities including preparing group reports (IFRS consolidated income statement, balance sheet, cash flow and other required reports), post journal entries and prepare supporting documentation (group level consolidation and IFRS entries only) and participate system development projects.

Your tasks will be:

• Cooperate with team members in the monthly closing process of the Group
• Preparation of intercompany reconciliation within the Group
• Preparation of the documentation of consolidation and IFRS adjustments
• Post IFRS journal entries to ERP
• Review of the reporting packages of the components
• External audit support
• Support integration processes of new subsidiaries
• Active cooperation with the subsidiaries’ accounting teams
• Support system implementation projects
• Making proposals for smaller professional efficiency projects

• Certified accountant (Business, IFRS certification is an advantage) OR
• Bachelor’s degree preferably in accounting specialization
• Min. 3 years of experience in IFRS, Consolidation, or Audit
• Communicational English skills (both spoken and written)
• Strong basic knowledge in the field of IFRS, Hungarian accounting law, Consolidation
• MS Office (especially Excel) proficiency
