As a Sales Business Analyst you will provide advisory support across functional areas, performing complex technical or professional work. You will focus on software cost optimization to enhance customer savings, while demonstrating excellent customer service and relationship management skills. This role is crucial for successful software contracts, requiring expertise in licensing, procurement, and vendor negotiation.
On a daily basis:
- You provide advisory roles within your specialist area to peer groups, customers, and direct reports if applicable
- You participate in operational customer services
- You assess situations, issues, and opportunities, escalating when appropriate
- You establish productive relationships and networks at an operational level
- You respond to pricing requests and organize quotes from software suppliers
- You drive negotiations with software vendors and distributors (building cost models, identify savings strategies, optimize software opportunities etc.)
- You track savings and value that can be reported and measured to the customer
- You collaborate with internal and external partners to meet procurement objectives.
