Regional Commodity Manager NPM Procurement

The Regional Commodity Manager NPM Procurement is responsible for implementing global and/or regional commodity strategies within their respective region and ensuring alignment with local business needs. This role bridges global and/or regional strategy and regional execution, managing supplier relationships, driving cost optimization, and ensuring supply security in the assigned region.

• Translate global and/or regional commodity strategies into actionable regional plans
• Provide regional market intelligence and feedback to Global Commodity Managers and/or Senior Manager Regional Commodity NPM and/or AVP of Commodity Procurement
• Identify and mitigate regional supply risks or claims
• Manage and develop regional supplier base in alignment with global and/or regional strategies
• Conduct regional negotiations and implement global and/or regional agreements locally
• Monitor supplier performance and drive continuous improvement trough saving measures
• Support plants and business units in resolving supply issues
• Ensure compliance with PSM Governance, procurement policies and regulatory standards
• Track and report regional KPIs
• Act as the primary contact for regional stakeholders on commodity-related procurement topics

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related field
• At least 3 years of experience in procurement or commodity management, preferably with regional exposure
• Fluent in English, German is a plus
• Familiarity with SAP
• Experience in MRO and Tooling Procurement is a plus
• Strong negotiation and supplier management skills
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Effective communication and stakeholder management
• Knowledge of regional supply markets and regulations
