As Regional Category Buyer Real Estate & Workplace Services (REWS) for France region you will be responsible for implementing sourcing strategies according to category management strategies and leading sourcing for the category of spend & geographic scope assigned, and across all business units. Core subcategories will be Real Estate, Facility Management, Building Maintenance, Security Services, Working Garments, Personal Protective Equipment, Office Supplies, Translation.

 

This includes activities such as, but not limited to, partnering with the internal business teams to support their objectives, assist with building project scopes, consolidate all business needs and specification, conduct Global Request for Proposal (RFP), negotiate contracts renewals, rate cards / discount schedules, and manage overall relationships with key suppliers.

 

You will be the procurement expert for the France region for REWS services while managing all additional procurement categories of the professional services domain in France and Europe when required

The overall spend under your supervision is about +85M€ spend/year.

 

This position is part of Professional Services (PS) Domain, will report to the PS Regional Category Manager for France & Europe Region.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Support Strategy Execution - Collaborate with the Global Lead Buyer or Regional Category Manager to implement category strategies and deliver cost-saving targets
  • Data Analysis - Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets using advanced Excel functions to provide actionable insights and optimize procurement processes
  • Lead Procurement Activities - Manage RFIs, RFPs, and contract negotiations, ensuring alignment with category goals and business needs
  • Project Management - Contribute to or lead local projects, reporting on savings, performance, risks, and progress in line with category management strategies
  • Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) - Oversee supplier relationships, conduct benchmarking, and implement best practices to enhance collaboration and efficiency
  • Ensure Compliance - Maintain a thorough understanding of procurement policies, address non-compliance issues, and support audits and crisis management activities
  • Stakeholder Collaboration - Build strong partnerships with internal stakeholders, presenting procurement strategies and aligning them with organizational objectives

About you

Experience

  • 6–10+ years of experience in Procurement or a related field, with demonstrated expertise in strategic sourcing and stakeholder management

  • Procurement Expertise - In-depth knowledge of best-in-class procurement techniques and processes
  • Analytical Proficiency - Strong analytical skills and experience with tools like PowerBI, advanced Excel, and Thinkcell

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university (Master’s degree preferred)

  • Fluent in French and proficient in English (both required)
