We are currently seeking a Quick Commerce Director (f/m/d) to lead our Commercial team in Hungary. As the Quick Commerce Director, you will play a pivotal role in expanding our business model through innovative digital transformations, focusing on quick commerce and omni-channel strategies. You will be responsible for Category Management,, supplier management, pricing, sales / vendor growth on Local Shops and driving innovative business ideas to enhance the end-consumer experience.


Responsibilities: Strategic Leadership: Develop and exeCross-functional Collaborationcute strategic plans to drive growth, profitability, and market leadership for Dmart and Local Shops in Hungary. Lead the development of short-term and long-term business strategies aligned with company objectives and market trends.


Operational ExcellenceOversee the day-to-day operations of Dmart and Local Shops, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning of dark stores and marketplace operations. Implement best practices and operational standards to optimize performance, minimize costs, and maximize efficiency.


Team Management: Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing team of managers and staff members across various functions, including sales, vendor Growth, category management and operations. Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement within the team.


Business DevelopmentIdentify and pursue opportunities for business expansion and growth within the quick commerce landscape. Establish partnerships, negotiate agreements, and onboard new vendors and suppliers to enhance product offerings and increase market reach.


Customer ExperienceChampion a customer-centric approach in all aspects of business operations. Analyze customer feedback, market insights, and industry trends to continuously improve service quality, product selection, and overall customer experience.


Financial ManagementDrive revenue growth and profitability through effective cost management, pricing strategies, and revenue optimization initiatives. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), financial metrics, and market dynamics to track business performance and make data-driven decisions.


Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with the Regional team and with cross-functional teams, including product, logistics, marketing and finance, to align strategies, prioritize initiatives, and drive synergies across the organization.


Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and company policies across all aspects of business operations. Identify and mitigate potential risks and challenges to safeguard business continuity and reputation.



Mit várunk Tőled?

  • 8+ years of proven experience in strategic leadership roles, preferably within the quick commerce or e-commerce industry.

  • Strong strategic mindset with a track record of driving business growth through innovative digital transformations.

  • Excellent leadership and team management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams.

  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on data-driven decision-making.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Fluent in Hungarian and English, both written and verbal.
