Main tasks, responsibilities:

The thyssenkrupp Dynamic Components business unit is one of the leading automotive suppliers and development partners for highly complex drive technologies. Around 3,500 employees produce 27 million drive components per year at a total of ten locations in Germany, Liechtenstein, Hungary, China, the USA, Brazil and Mexico. The product range mainly comprises assembled camshafts, valve train systems and rotor shafts for state-of-the-art combustion, hybrid and electric engines. Further products for battery electric vehicles are already at an advanced stage of development. With our manufacturing and automation expertise, we make a significant contribution to reducing emissions for sustainable mobility.

Feladatok

  • Planning and monitoring projects (scope, cost, timeline)
  • Ensuring smooth new product introduction into serial production
  • Operative coordination of prototypes and pre-series phase
  • Ensuring that prototypes, pre-production and pre-project items comply with specifications
  • Act as the main contact for project-related topics, collect and report the different phases and results
  • Cooperating the product development team
  • Responsible for product management in product lifecycle management (PLM)
  • Create and maintain the necessary project documentation
  • Implementation of changes in coordination with Series Management and specialist departments
  • Planning, coordination and monitoring of timelines for the execution of test production and testing up to series production

Requirements:

  • Engineer degree or above (technical college or university)
  • Min. 3 year experience in design engineering and project management (preferable in the automotive industry)
  • Basic PC knowledge and dealing with EDV-, information- and communication systems
  • Knowledge in automation, assembly technology and manufacturing system engineering for lean manufacturing and mass production
  • Fluent English
  • Ability to work in team and social competence
  • Strong technical skills and interest to development itself in new areas and areas of expertise
