Project coordinator

We are looking for an experienced project coordinator to help us smooth the path for our projects. Technical background and experience in production line design/installation are essential. 

• Understanding customer requirements related to production lines.
• Supporting the project manager in following the project's life cycle from design to final acceptance on our costumer’s site.
• Communication with customers to clarify technical issues: Mechanical Design, Automation Requirements, and MES Systems.
• On-site coordination of production line installation from machine arrival to final handover.
• Quick clarification of questions arising during installation, effective problem solving.
• Effective coordination of teams from different cultural backgrounds (Asia and Europe)
• Root Cause Analysis: Conduct thorough root cause analysis of mechanical/electrical/software failures and defining corrective actions to prevent recurrence, utilizing data-driven approaches to identify underlying issues and optimize equipment reliability
• Documentation and Reporting: Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, equipment performance, and incident reports, and generate comprehensive analysis reports. Identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective measures after feedback with the design department in China and Europe

• Technical degree in Mechanical or Automation fields 
• Proven experience in project coordination in industrial automation industry
• Knowledge of automated production line operations
• Root cause analysis methodologies and problem-solving techniques experience (5 Why, 8D)
• Knowledge of measurements related to quality management and production line capability indicators (OEE)
• Undertaking longer assignments abroad at our customers' sites in Europe - Typically, 70% of annual working hours
• At least a conversational level of English is essential
• User-level knowledge of SolidWorks, AutoCad, MS Office, and MS Project programs

• Experience with continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma is a plus
• Strong ability to assert interests in technical negotiations
• Experience in international working environment with Asian cultures
• Automotive standards experience (IATF16949)
