Production Manager

What impact you’ll make

The Production Manager will demonstrate accountability for all operational objectives related to production. In this role the production manager will integrate and develop processes that meet business needs across the organization, manage complex issues within functional areas of expertise, be involved in short term planning and execution as well as contribute to long-term business strategy.

What you’ll do

• Provide leadership in the attainment of goals with respect to safety, quality, cost, On time delivery, LEAN production and compliance
• Prepare annual resource forecasts based on annual production plans
• Participation in annual planning of costs related to the area
• Production programming in cooperation with team leaders, according to customer needs
• Establish, manage and continuously improve a LEAN culture to help achieve common goals and customer satisfaction
• Select, hire, train, develop, and provide ongoing leadership and direction of assigned personnel
• Work closely with a Local and Global Management Team to ensure seamless operations and to achieve outstanding results
• Promotion of innovation and improvements to increase safety, quality, production efficiency

What you’ll bring (Basic Qualifications)

• Engineering/Technical degree from university or college
• Significant experience in a shop role, preferably in metalworking environment
• Strong oral and written communication skills in Hungarian and English as well
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills in a matrix environment
• Experience leading and motivating diverse workforce
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills
• Knowledge of the disciplines of manufacturing management such as production control, and standard cost management; strong financial acumen
