Product Manager / Product Owner

The Product Manager will play a key role in driving product development across Xeropan’s web, mobile, and API platforms. The successful candidate will oversee agile processes, manage project lifecycles, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality user experiences. This role requires strategic thinking, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to lead teams to achieve optimal product outcomes.

Key responsibilities:

1. Team leadership:
   • Lead and inspire cross-functional teams, including iOS, Android, Web, and API Engineers, and UX/UI Designers, in collaboration with the CTO and CEO.
   • Provide guidance and ensure that team members are aligned with product goals and company vision.
2. Agile Project Management:
   • Oversee and facilitate all SCRUM ceremonies, ensuring efficient and effective agile practices.
   • Maintain and prioritize the product backlog, writing detailed and actionable user stories.
   • Track and manage the progress of projects using JIRA, keeping all documentation up to date.
3. Strategic planning and execution:
   • Manage the end-to-end production and delivery processes to ensure product consistency and quality.
   • Use performance metrics and data-driven insights to inform strategic product decisions and improve offerings.
4. Cross-departmental collaboration:
   • Act as a communication bridge between various departments to optimize workflows and promote seamless collaboration.
   • Coordinate with content, tech, and design teams to align project objectives and execution strategies.

Daily workflow oncludes:

• Defining business needs: Identify and document project requirements to align with company goals.
• Collaboration and requirement detailing: Work with tech, content, and design divisions to define detailed requirements and participate in grooming sessions.
• Progress tracking: Conduct daily standups to monitor project status and address roadblocks.
• Release planning: Strategically plan and oversee the execution of product releases.

JIRA management: Ensure that all processes are properly documented and up to date in JIRA.

Expectations:

• A minimum of 3 years in product management, demonstrating a proven track record in driving successful product development.
• Expertise in JIRA and a deep understanding of SCRUM methodologies to efficiently manage agile workflows.
• Strong capabilities in strategic planning and execution, ensuring projects align with business objectives and deliver impactful results.
• Effective team leadership skills, fostering collaboration and guiding cross-functional teams toward shared goals.
