Procurement Manager

Huawei Hungary is growing! As a result, we are looking for a Procurement Manager to join our well established team in the heart of Budapest. The successful candidate will be responsible for supplier sourcing and selection (bidding, negotiation, etc.), daily communication and performance management with suppliers, drafting and negotiating procurement contracts, and monitoring procurement fulfillment.

Please note that this is an on-site position with 5 days in the office!
Office location: 116-118 Vaci Ut, Budapest, 1133.

In this role you will be responsible for:

• Collecting and analyze the category market information about the price and resources.
• Making the action plan to decrease the TCO cost.
• Aligning the resource requirement from internal, make the resource assurance.
• Supplier management including suppliers resource pool management, suppliers capability improvement, suppliers issues solution made, suppliers business cooperation development strategy made.

As our ideal candidate, you will have:

• Bachelor’s degree, ≥8 years of relevant work experience.
• Fluent in Hungarian and English, with strong communication and writing skills.
• A certain level of forward-thinking, predictive ability and super execution skills;
• Strong communication and influence skills.
• Proficient in office software and electronic workflow systems.
• Proactive, responsible, adaptable to multitasking, and able to flexibly support team operations.

The position requires a proactive attitude, good capability of communication and data analysis, with flexibility to collaborate with the team in completing tasks assigned by the supervisor, including certain supportive tasks beyond the regular job scope.
