Responsibilities

  • Leads biological and chemical pilot process development projects (Scale up, tech transfer, etc.)
  • Improves continuously pilot facilities and capabilities
  • Ensures reaching determined milestones within the given timeframes
  • Sets priorities of projects and implements changes if necessary
  • Continuously tracks the status of projects, creates monthly reports and presents the current results
  • Ensures high level of compliance in regards of safety regulations
  • Ensures the cost effective functioning of the department
  • Supports the professional development of his/her team members
  • Keeps in touch with different sites, cooperates with project managers and other partners

Requirements

  • Chemical engineer, bioengineer or chemist MSc degree
  • Knowledge and experience in the field of 
  • Extensive knowledge in the field of organic chemistry, familiarity with synthetic and enzyme reactions
  • Good command of English language
  • User level computer skills
  • Good communication skills
  • Great problem solving ability
  • Good team player
  • Leadership skills

Nice-to-have

  • PhD degree on the field of chemistry, biochemistry or any other relevant field
  • Experience in project and people management
