Tasks

We are looking for a Payroll Specialist with around 3 years of experience to join our Partner’s growing team in Budapest. In this role, you will manage internal payroll processes, ensuring accurate and timely payments, compliance, and employee satisfaction.

Main Tasks:

  • Process monthly payroll for employees in compliance with local regulations
  • Maintain and update payroll records and employee data
  • Handle statutory declarations and coordinate with local authorities (e.g. NAV)
  • Support audits and ensure accurate payroll documentation
  • Manage sick leave, holiday, and other time-off calculations
  • Act as a point of contact for employee payroll-related inquiries
  • Collaborate with HR and Finance departments to ensure data accuracy

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in payroll processing
  • Solid knowledge of Hungarian labor and tax regulations
  • Proficiency in Hungarian and English (both written and spoken)
  • Experience with payroll software and MS Excel
  • Accuracy, confidentiality, and strong attention to detail
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills
