Packaging Manager

• Leading the packaging department to optimize performance, ensure compliance, and meet targets.
• Driving continuous improvement through problem-solving, capability enhancement, and process optimization.
• Managing assets by optimizing maintenance, controlling costs, implementing autonomous practices, and executing capital projects.
• Overseeing quality and integrated management systems within the department.
• Ensuring health, safety, environmental, and risk management through best practices, investigations, audits, and safety meetings.
• Managing the department's budget, including developing, submitting, and executing business and capital plans.
• Developing staff competencies, fostering a positive work culture, retaining talent, and driving high performance while enhancing the company’s reputation.

YOU WILL NEED THESE SKILLS TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS POSITION

• BA/MSc in field of Technology.
• At least 5 years of experience as a Departmental Manager in Manufacturing, preferably in FMCG, with a focus on food or beverage.
• Experience with high-speed, high-tech, and automated plant equipment.
• Strong understanding of packaging management information systems and processes.
• Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal, analytical, coaching, and conflict resolution skills.
• Must be fluent in English and Hungarian.

ADDITIONAL SKILLS WHICH WE APPRECIATE

• Extensive knowledge of packaging technologies, equipment, and packline design, along with expertise in packaging processes, materials, and containers.
• Familiarity with key manufacturing sundries, utilities, water, and effluent management.
