What success looks like in this role:
Role Purpose:
The Budapest Network Operations Team Leader will be the team lead for the Budapest Network Operations team. The candidate will be added to an existing IT team which they will interact with on a daily basis.
The candidate provides guidance on contractual terms and conditions as well as infrastructure management procedures, knowledge transfer and mentorship to less experienced team members.
Key responsibilities / outcomes
- Coordinate the daily operations of the Budapest Network team.
- Analyze the organizational use of network technologies to identify technological opportunities to support business objectives.
- The resource will provide ongoing support to our existing Client infrastructure as required and work closely with other network teams within Unisys.
- Act as first point of contact for counterparts (including externals and internals), proactively manage stakeholder relationship to maintain customer satisfaction.
- Manage regular and ad-hoc reporting based on Unisys and client standards, ensuring SLA fulfillment.
- Control and coordinate network-related incidents in major incident calls or any other ad-hoc stakeholder necessities.
- Process, monitor and prioritize daily request queue.
- Support other key initiatives as the business dictates.
- Coordinate the team members’ time schedule according to client priorities.
- May act in people management tasks on ad-hoc bases.
You will be successful in this role if you have:
- 5+ years of experience in Infrastructure management and relevant experience in a senior or lead position (network infrastructure management experience is an advantage
- Fluent in English
- Should be able to communicate complex issues clearly and concisely with clients, management, vendors and external parties.
- Must be able to thoroughly document implementations, modifications and removals. Change Management experience is a plus.
- Deep knowledge of Network Infrastructure management.
- Experience with advanced network concepts and technologies such as Data Center networking, Proxies, Firewalls, Load Balancers and DNS
- Past experience in facing security related queries and issues with direct customer impact
- Any IT certification is an advantage
