Monitoring Engineer

Hungary SRE team of Sparkoo Technologies Hungary Kft.(Huawei Cloud Computing Technologists Hungary subsidiary)is the global operation center for clouds based on Huawei solution, working on solutions to keep various platforms reliable and secure. As one of the industry’s fastest growing cloud vendor, Hungary SRE is responsible for more than 10 data centers with more than 150K servers.

Position Summary: We are currently seeking Cloud Operations Engineers as we enhance the support model for our cloud platforms. • Monitoring, scrutinizing alerts received from our various tools and ensuring that they are properly logged and worked on.
• Incident Ticket Management, entering alerts into ticketing tool and updating these tickets as necessary.  Handle the ticket from the 1st level customer support team
• Escalation – contacting various support teams as necessary in order to ensure alerts &Incident ticket are properly managed.
• On-call, participate in on-call rotation and operate ticket effectively from the customer and O&M team in a global 7*24 environment

• Ability to work in 24/7 shifts - nights & weekends& national holiday included
• Strong written English skills
• Strong learning ability and adaptability.
• Speaking good English
• Requires excellent communications skills, both verbal and written

• Scripting knowledge (Shell, Python)
• Knowledge of Cloud providers including Amazon AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Microsoft Azure is preferred.
• skilled in Linux/Unix administration
• Understanding of networking standard protocols and components such as: HTTP, DNS, TCP/IP, ICMP, the OSI Model, Subnetting and Load Balancing
• Experience with Cloud solutions
