Molecular biology technical expert

The Molecular Biology technical expert is member of the operations team and reports to the
R&D Manager. The job holder will primarily take part in process improvement, investigations of
non-conformities, process/product validation and preparation of documents. This is a long-term opportunity with continuous transfers and production improvements due to the strategic goals of the company.

POSITION OBJECTIVES:

• Provide technology support to manufacturing team.
• Transfer manufacturing and QC processes from R&D to manufacturing teams using validation and verification methods according to new product development protocol
• Life-cycle management of existing products: investigation of non-conformities, participation in corrective actions, manufacturing process optimization

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Product life cycle management:
• Documentation and document maintenance of manufacturing and related processes.
• Training associates in transferred manufacturing and QC methods and procedures.
• Investigation of nonconformities and writing technical reports

• MSc degree in a related scientific discipline (Molecular biology, Biotechnology, Biology).
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in relevant position/area.
• Knowledge of basic statistical methods and data analysis
• Strong background in molecular biology methods with qPCR in focus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Fluent English is required.
