Design & specify, procurement and validation of manufacturing, machine, stamping die, test tooling/fixtures, machines and equipment retrofit, improvement on existing and running equipment
Lead PFMEA and VSM activities to identify manufacturing risks and optimize build processes
Define and manage layout modification linked to the equipment that are included into his project responsibilities
Development of new processes and procedures
Preparation and release of Work Instructions detailing all processes
Creation of production routings within SAP system
Support all aspects of pre-production and post-launch production until project closure (from process definition until the introduction as mass production which is running on quoted performance)
Manage the acceptance of the equipment by the Plant department like EHS, Operations, Maintenance, Quality and Engineering
Develop and implement training programs for process colleagues regarding new technologies, products and manufacturing systems
Influence design to ensure new designs are optimized for manufacturing, performance, yield and cost
Follow up project progresses with suppliers and customers
Requirements
University degree in Mechanical, Electronical or Mechatronic Engineering
3-5 years relevant experience on similar field
Working knowledge of LEAN manufacturing and LEAN deployment
Superior communication skills, self-starter and results-orientated personality
Hands-on capability with good knowledge of manufacturing
Ability to use CAD (Creo, Inventor, AutoCAD) to design fixtures and analyze product, tooling and machine designs
Good knowledge in machine and tooling acceptance protocols
Good project management skills
Strong background in interpretation of Engineering drawings/specifications, and manufacturing process planning/evaluation
Strong analytical, problem solving and inter-personal skills
