Manual tester

 

• Comprehensive Testing: Conduct thorough testing of IT systems in the commercial, telecommunications, and banking sectors, as well as business intelligence databases and reports. This includes testing user interfaces (front-end) and the underlying services (back-end).
• Testing Documentation: Prepare test plans, write and execute test cases, and document and report defects in detail.
• Functional and Non-Functional Testing: Test the system's functionality, performance, security, usability, and compatibility.
• Collaboration: Work closely with developers, business analysts, and project managers throughout the entire development process.

 

• Technical Knowledge: 
  - Front-End: Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, modern front-end frameworks (React, Angular, Vue.js), and experience with browser developer tools. AND/OR 
  - Back-End: Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases, APIs (REST, SOAP), basic programming knowledge (Python, Java, C#), and networking protocols.
• Testing Tools: Practical experience with tools like JIRA, SpiraTeam, Postman, SOAP UI, Selenium, or similar.
• Database Knowledge: Ability to write SQL queries and connect to databases.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to independently identify and resolve issues.
• Communication: Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with developers and business users.
• English Proficiency: Fluent English for understanding technical documentation and communicating with international teams.

 

• Telco OR Banking Experience: Experience in testing customer relationship management, billing, or similar systems.
• Security Testing: Experience in application security testing.
• User Experience Focus: Consideration of user perspectives during testing.
• DevOps Knowledge: Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Automation Skills: Experience with test automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, pytest) is a plus.
• Certifications: ISTQB or similar qualification.
