Maintenance engineer

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on our product, e.g. GNSS receiver, field controller, laser scanner.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair equipment failures promptly to minimize downtime.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure all systems operate safely and efficiently.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts inventory.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to implement improvements and upgrades.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Provide technical support and training to junior staff when necessary.
• Provice after-sales technical support to dealers and customers when necessary.
• Respond to emergency maintenance requests as needed.

Requirements:

• A degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience in electronic device repair.
• Have experience as a Maintenance Engineer or in a a comparable technical role.
• Have basic knowledge in reading electronic circuit diagrams, schematics, and manuals.
• Practical skills in using multimeters, soldering irons, and DC power supplies for troubleshooting and repair.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot effectively under pressure.
• A proactive, independent worker who also excels in a collaborative team environment.
• Excellent communication skills in English and Hungarian.
• Must have legal authorization to work in Hungary.
