As a Last Mile Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless order deliveries to customers, overseeing everything from fleet management and staffing to safety, scheduling, and continuous improvement. You will play a crucial role in achieving operational goals within our Fulfilment Centre while helping to build and refine the processes, procedures, and systems that will support our long-term growth.
 
What you'll do:
  • On-time delivery: Ensure outbound shipments are delivered punctually by enforcing efficient operational procedures.
  • Fleet management: Oversee couriers and vehicles, ensuring cost-effective and well-maintained transport operations.
  • Carrier selection & contract negotiation: Optimize shipping techniques, carriers, and costs to improve efficiency.
  • Team leadership & development: Recruit, train, and coach a high-performing team to deliver excellence.
  • Process optimization: Identify and implement best practices to enhance customer satisfaction, safety, and operational efficiency.
  • Regulatory compliance: Ensure adherence to shipping legislation and company policies.

Expectation

  • 3+ years of relevant leadership experience in Logistics, Transportation, or Courier Services.
  • Ability to manage stressful situations with professionalism and resilience.
  • Strong analytical skills to monitor and reduce transportation costs.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and experience with TMS or other logistics systems.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations, 5S best practices, and loss prevention.
