Key account manager

Main purpose of the position / Key expectations:

The Key Account Manager will be responsible for managing facility management operations at client premises (cleaning, technical services) – industrial site. Person on that position will be primary, single point of contact for the customer. The Key Account Manager will be a leader to service supervisor and will work closely with client and local ISS team to ensure highest service standards.

Your key responsibilities will be:

• Leading team of service supervisors and oversight over the shift planning, attendance closing, holiday, overtimes, sickness and recruitment within their teams and themselves; working closely with HR team department regarding recruitment, new joiners, leavers, etc.
• Identification of new sales opportunities at the entrusted client, calculating and preparing price offers and selling them to the entrusted customer
• Managing health, safety, and environmental (HS&E) agenda in cooperation with HS&E manager on the account – performing planned and unplanned checks, ensuring that HS&E rules are adhere to
• Budget responsibility for the entrusted operations
• Monthly presentation of operational and financial results to the country manager as well as the global account management
• Identification and closing of gaps in between actual and expected / budgeted financial and operational performance
• Approval of purchase orders at the entrusted account and participation in supplier evaluation led by the procurement department
• Managing quality inspections over the provided service and service quality KPIs as per customer contract
• Regular performance evaluation of your subordinates as well as driving communication and feedback culture throughout the account organization and staff
• Regular systems use in account management (FMS Tririga and other)
• Responsibility in ensuring that rules, guidelines are followed up on the entrusted account
• The role involves liaising with subcontractors to ensure smooth project execution and compliance with requirements

• Experience in managing teams of blue-collar workers
• Excellent English skills, in writing and speaking
• Technical education or equivalent
• Preferred experience from facility management on the position of production manager or maintenance manager
• Experience working with facility management system and Navision will be appreciated
• Driving license B (personal car)
• Good MS Office knowledge (Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Sharepoint, etc.)

• technical project management experience, ensuring successful delivery of complex projects within scope, time, and budget.

• Ability to solve problems independently but seek guidance and clarity when needed
• Ability to accept the country and ISS Group vision and ensure via persuasion that the whole team on the account is onboard

Location: The position offers flexible work arrangements (Home Office option) but is fundamentally Field Based. While the central office is in Budapest, the role involves mandatory and frequent travel to our various sites throughout Hungary, specifically: Szeged, Eger, Pécs, Kecskemét, Nyíregyháza, Debrecen, Miskolc, and Budapest.
