Key Account Management Team Leader

Do you have the ability to, on a strategic level, develop and lead a Key Account Management Department to success? As our new KAM Team Leader you will not only spend your days leading amazing colleagues, you will also strategically set growth plans, business reviews and overall develop the business with our strategic accounts. You will build long-lasting relationships and work closely with the management and key stakeholders in the establishment of departmental strategies, goals, and targets. Key tasks and responsibilities:

  • Take overall responsibility for our dynamic Key Account Management team of 4, fostering their growth and performance. Build a positive and empowering work environment where everyone thrives.

  • Oversee portfolio performance and drive growth for our strategic accounts, ensuring long-term value and integration across our ecosystem (business, marketing, ad tech, subscriptions, POS, etc.).

  • Develop and implement commercial and strategic plans that achieve results. Equip your team with the tools, insights, and vision they need to exceed their KPIs.

  • Strengthen long-term partnerships with retail and restaurant clients while acting as a key communicator between operations and partners. Lead key meetings and business reviews with strategic clients.

  • Work cross-functionally with internal stakeholders to align on strategy and operations, leveraging best practices to drive the development of the territory.

  • Conduct regular quality and satisfaction audits to ensure our service standards are met and exceeded. Provide performance feedback and create a roadmap for continuous improvement.

  • Demonstrate our values and behaviours through your leadership. Be the role model your team can look up to.

Required qualifications:

  • Relationship builder - You have excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to liaise with and influence stakeholders at all levels of seniority. You are able to take complexity and simplify it for understanding of all.

  • Business Minded/Commercial - You have a good commercial acumen and the ability to identify opportunities and propose solutions through business case development.

  • Independent/Self-Propelled - You take full ownership for your work by taking your own initiatives and making sure they move forward!

  • Solutions Oriented - Where others just see problems, you also see the solutions. Besides that, you possess an analytical and data driven mindset.

  • Hands on mentality/teamplayer - You are a strong team player that can lead, motivate and inspire team members through your high level of energy, positive attitude and knowledge sharing leadership style!

  • Leadership skills - For you it’s a no-brainer to lead by example, your leadership skills will be crucial in this role!

Advantage:

  • University degree in business or similar.

  • At least 5 years in a Senior Key Account Management role or similar.

  • You have been responsible for large accounts, and have experience from complex negotiation with proven track record.

  • If you have led a team that will be considered a plus but strong leadership skills are very important.

  • Advanced knowledge within Office (excel, powerpoint).

  • Fluent in English.

  • Background in FMCG or Tech Industry will be considered a plus, but the most important part is that you have experience from handling large accounts.
