IT Strategy & Digital Transformation
• Lead digital transformation initiatives, including ERP, MES, and WMS system optimization, to support manufacturing and supply chain processes
• Drive system integration, data analytics, and process digitalization initiatives aligned with Industry 4.0 objectives
• Collaborate with executive management to define IT strategy, investment priorities, and implementation roadmaps
IT Operations & Infrastructure Management
• Oversee IT infrastructure including networks, servers, cloud services, end-user devices, and plant IT systems
• Manage core business systems critical to production and operations, including SAP, MES, APS, WMS, SRM, EDI, and OA systems
• Ensure high availability, performance, and security of IT systems, including 24/7 operational readiness
• Manage IT asset lifecycle processes, including procurement, deployment, maintenance, upgrades, and decommissioning
Cybersecurity & Compliance
• Develop, implement, and enforce IT security policies, access control frameworks, and data protection standards
• Conduct regular risk assessments, vulnerability testing, and disaster recovery planning
• Ensure compliance with TISAX, GDPR, and internal IT governance requirements
• Lead and coordinate cybersecurity incident response in cooperation with internal and external stakeholders
Team Leadership & Cross-Functional Cooperation
• Build, lead, and coordinate local IT resources and external service providers
• Define performance expectations, operational KPIs, and development plans
• Work closely with Production, Quality, Supply Chain, Engineering, and Finance to translate business needs into IT solutions
• Support IT-related topics during audits, customer visits, and internal reviews
Vendor & Stakeholder Management
• Manage relationships with IT vendors, system integrators, and service partners
• Negotiate contracts and service agreements to ensure cost efficiency and service quality
• Act as the primary IT contact for internal stakeholders, translating technical topics into clear business value
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Network Engineering, or a related technical field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in IT management within an automotive or manufacturing environment
• Strong knowledge of SAP and manufacturing-related systems (MES, WMS, SRM, APS)
• Experience in IT infrastructure management, cybersecurity principles, and compliance requirements
• Fluent English and/or Chinese (spoken and written) – daily working language
• Strong analytical thinking, organizational skills, and stakeholder communication abilities
• Experience in greenfield plant setup or production ramp-up projects
• Familiarity with Industry 4.0 and smart manufacturing solutions
• Experience working in a multinational, matrix organization
