IT Infrastructure Engineer

• Manage daily operations of IT infrastructure (including Security measures), ensuring seamless functionality in Data Centers and in Remote Locations.
• Collaborate with various IT functions, particularly with the IT Service Desk and Desktop Team, to ensure efficient process execution.
• Contribute actively to the development of the IT knowledge base and asset documentation.
• Assess new services, systems, and processes to improve LAT Nitrogen IT capabilities.
• Implement new infrastructure solutions and coordinate with external service providers for operations and support.
• Develop, enhance, document and test Disaster Recovery Plans (DRP) in specific IT Infrastructure area.
• Identify and drive the adoption of IT innovations within your field of responsibility.
• Occasionally lead and contribute to IT infrastructure related projects
• Mentor junior engineers supporting their technical and professional development.

• . Technical Expertise (at least two of the following):
  • Networking (LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, VPN, Firewalls)
  • Server management – HW, SW (MS Windows, Linux)
  • Data Backup & Recovery
  • Active Directory, Entra ID, monitoring and other applications supporting IT Infrastructure
  • Public Cloud (Azure) services – W365
  • Databases – MS SQL Server
  • Infrastructure Monitoring & Automation
• Excellent analytical, methodical, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively in a multinational team spread across many locations.
• Relevant IT education or significant work experience
• Fluency in English
• Required experience:
  • 3-5 years of experience in the defined field of technical responsibility.
