The Role

The Inventory Analyst is responsible for monitoring and transacting the inventory level at the TPM’s through identifying accuracy gaps and analyses to continuous follow up and alignment with predefined targets. Ultimate goal is having a efficiency on analyzing excess, Freshness, blocked stock and Destructions with Vendors. The Analyst works with the inventory planner enabling analyses and transactions in timing manner. The Analyst follows up on effective tactics, in cooperation with different stakeholders for execution. The TPM Inventory Analyst is also responsible for simplifying inventory reporting: freshness and destruction in compliance with the processes.

Responsibilities:
 

  • Monitor and manage inventory levels held by third-party suppliers to ensure optimal stock availability in the system and alignment with company requirements.
  • Support and Make it happen inventory controls procedures specific to third-party lead by Inventory Planner and managing inventory to prevent stockouts, overstocks, and discrepancies.
  • Create and maintain reports on supplier performance, inventory turnover rates, and slow-moving items.
  • Collaborates and supports with the inventory planner.
  • Analyzing and managing the Inventory management, destructions, liabilities and scrapping across the external partners network.
  • Ensuring the timely and accurate flow of destruction into the Estee Lauder Warehouses and external partners planning facilities.
  • Monitoring and analyses the Freshness of the components and raws at the external supplier location, assuring the best FG freshness to the ELC network.
  • Assures destruction processes are followed and compliant by External Partners.
  • Observes opportunities to simplify regional inventory processes and works with the inventory planner on the best practices and process improvements.
  • Monitors Inventory Availability and Year End or monthly stock counts on the external suppliers.
  • Analyses scrap rating process and assures accuracy of scrap rates in planning systems with CVE teams.
  • Collaborates and Reports into Integrated Business planning and FP&A (Finance Planning and analytics) on the inventory control and financial status to support achievement of working capital and target.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Supply Chain, Economics, Engineering or related field.
  • SAP system knowledge (ECC / APO) and any optimizer tools e.g. O9.
  • Excellent knowledge of Excel.
  • Experience with reporting and query tools such as, PowerBI, SQVI or Qlikview/Sense.
  • Strong on data sciences: reporting creation, analyze, translate, identify inconsistencies and errors on data lakes.
  • Independent and ability to simplify technical flows and transactions.
  • Being flexible and able to work in a dynamic environment.
  • Business proficiency in English (both written and spoken).

Nice-to-have

  • Knowledge of additional languages such German/ French/ Italian/ Polish/ Chinese/ Japanese/ Korean are a plus.
  • APICS, Six Sigma or Lean are a plus.
