Responsibilities

  • Support the Head of Student Recruitment in managing the international student recruitment and admission process.
  • Work with the Marketing Communications team to promote international recruitment across all channels and ensure effective lead management.
  • Handle the full recruitment and admissions process for international applicants, ensuring timely and accurate application processing.
  • Liaise with University departments to ensure a seamless applicant journey from first contact through to enrolment and beyond.
  • Represent the University in Hungary and abroad at relevant events (e.g. expos, school visits, conferences, agent events) and deliver presentations as required.
  • Communicate directly with applicants, parents, teachers, and agents through one-to-one contact and newsletters.
  • Coordinate the work of student interns and ambassadors in support of recruitment and admission activities.
  • Monitor the effectiveness of campaigns and activities using the University’s systems (e.g. DreamApply, Neptun) and report findings to senior colleagues.
  • Support colleagues in onboarding and managing international recruitment agents.
  • Contribute to achieving strategic objectives and annual targets set by the Head of International Student Recruitment and Admissions
  • Support monitoring of return on investment and manage allocated budgets.

Requirements

  • Bachelor level education.
  • International marketing, student recruitment, and admissions experience (ideally in an international Higher Education setting).
  • Strong customer focus, exceptional English communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Expert CRM and admissions (ideally DreamApply) systems user experience for effective communications, lead conversions, and for reporting.
  • Independent worker but also a good team player who can respond well to instruction when required.
  • Able to prioritise while not losing sight of detail.
