The Inside Sales Specialist is responsible for understanding customer requirements and ensuring a complete customer experience from quote to cash provided by Group Technology Sourcing. The role involves driving profitable sales growth through providing excellent customer service and satisfaction. Individuals in this role should have a flexible mindset and a focus on accuracy. Collaboration with the GTS, sales, and various other internal teams is essential for successful performance in this role. 
 
On a daily basis:
 

• You handle customer requests promptly and courteously     
• You are responsible for pricing and margin decisions 
• You process quote requests and sales orders according to specifications and requirements 
• You verify purchase order details with sales orders and source of supply 
• You ensure delivery to customer SLAs by monitoring the reporting and service reviews 
• You coordinate with Purchasing on non-standard/non-compliant orders 
• You work with relevant stakeholders on blocked orders due to margins, credit limits, or export control 
• You oversee customer stock management, working with Purchasing, Configuration, and Logistics to optimise levels 
• You process returns as per SLA 
• You ensure credits are processed in the system promptly 
• You identify, propose, and apply improvement actions. 

You are the ideal candidate if...

• You have a few years of experience in an internal sales department
• You have a good command of spoken and written English (additional French or German would be an advantage)
• You are capable of carrying out quotation and order processing tasks
• You have excellent process understanding for day-to-day business and encourage following standard processes, making significant efforts to improve them
• You have a strong customer and commercial orientation
• You possess strong communication skills
• You are reliable, conscientious, and have a sense of responsibility and initiative
• You can work well in a team
• You have organizational skills and can manage conflicts
• You demonstrate detailed knowledge and understand the direction of change in the marketplace
• You can take ownership of complex queries/problems to resolution
• You manage effective relationships in key areas and can evidence relationships through appropriate customer feedback.

You have an advantage if...
 

• You have basic knowledge of project coordination.
• You have experience in experience in both quotation and order management
• You use knowledge of key business drivers and objectives to seek optimal outcomes.
