Inside Sales Specialist

About the Role

As an Inside Sales Specialist, you will act as the vital link between our customers and the sales organization. You’ll provide technical and commercial support, coordinate quotations, and ensure smooth processing of customer requests through various channels including email, phone, live chat, and CRM systems (SAP C4C, CPQ).

This role combines technical pump expertise with customer service excellence, making it ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, solution-oriented environment.

• Provide technical advice and product sizing support for pump systems and applications.
• Prepare and process quotations and offers based on customer specifications and compliance standards.
• Handle complex customer inquiries and complaints, ensuring timely resolution.
• Maintain accurate records and customer data in SAP CRM systems.
• Collaborate with internal teams (Sales, Supply Chain, Service, Finance) to ensure seamless customer experience.
• Promote digital tools such as MyGrundfos, GPC, and Extranet to enhance customer self-service.
• Support external sales colleagues (“Buddy system”) and contribute to team sales targets.
• Manage product returns, damaged goods, and customer disputes.
• Participate in ad hoc tasks and continuous improvement initiatives.

• 3–5 years of experience in customer service or technical sales, ideally in the pump or engineering sector.
• Strong knowledge of pumps, pumping systems, and engineering applications.
• Experience with SAP CRM, SD/MM modules (preferred but not essential).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Teams, Word, PowerPoint).
• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
• Analytical mindset and attention to detail.
