Responsibilities

  • Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to hotel standards
  • Anticipate and address guests’ service needs
  • Process guest check-ins by confirming reservations, assigning room, and issuing and activating room key
  • Supply guests with directions and information regarding property and local areas of interest
  • Answer, record, and process all guest calls, messages, requests, questions, or concerns
  • Communicate parking procedures to guests/visitors and dispatch valet staff as needed
  • Process all payment types such as room charges, cash, checks, debit, or credit
  • Process all check-outs including resolving any late and disputed charges
  • Run daily reports, identify any special requests, and check reports for accuracy
  • Complete designated cashier and closing reports in the computer system

Requirements

  • Previous Front Office experience preferred, especially in a luxury environment
  • Knowledge of OPERA (or equivalent PMS) and experience in cashiering are preferred
  • Fluency in English language
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • A sincere willingness to provide service to guests
