We are looking for an ambitious senior marketer to join our International Marketplaces team based out of any of our European offices (Hungary, Romania, Slovakia, Baltics).

You will execute strategy at a global level, working closely with the wider Ringier International Marketplaces team and the in-country teams in Europe & Africa, giving you the opportunity to travel.

Global Head of Marketing

Your mission

Reporting to the Group CMO, you will:

  • Execute: Develop and oversee online marketing initiatives for the group, working with marketing, tech engineering and executive management
  • Lead: Ensure the high performance of a team of 2-3
  • Collaborate: Empower in-country Heads of Marketing, offering ongoing advice, creating training courses, leading workshops to transfer knowledge as well as ensure the implementation of best practises
  • Communicate: Champion marketing insights, create reports & presentations on project outcomes for senior executives
  • Strategize: Be one of the key sources of marketing insights in the group, being a thought-leader and researching innovations in order to to take our brands to the cutting edge of digital strategy
  • Advocate: Build relationship with key partners and drive marketing automation tool usage within the group

Your profile

  • Minimum 8 years marketing experience
  • Minimum 4 years project management experience
  • Minimum 4 years working tactically in PPC and/or SEO
  • Strong understanding of other marketing channels (below and above the line)
  • Confident in presenting strategies and influencing key decision-makers
  • Detail oriented with outstanding analytical capabilities and the ability to create clear reports as well as documentation
  • Ability to work in an international team environment and prioritise tasks based on business value
  • Enjoy structure and process, with excellent time management skills
  • Willing to travel up to 60%
  • Fluent in written and spoken English, other European languages are a bonus
